Red takes the stairs.

 Red has been toying with the stairs all week, but today he finds the upstairs landing and a new door.

Wow, this is fun - let's play.

Hey, there is another whole set of stairs.  Wonder where they go?   Another day.   I'm tired - need to find my brothers and sister.

OK, back down.   Not so easy.  

All of the others have made it a few steps up, but Red seems to be our explorer, although Blue took off this morning on the far side of the pool and out by the horseshoe pits.

Sunday Loving It Outside

 Having lunch outside in the sun on Sunday.

After lunch took a stroll by the pool with mom.

 Trying mush for the first time - they only drink the water right now, but they will get it soon enough.  Bell is waiting in the background ready to finish up the food for them.

After breakfast  and a little running around it is time to nap again.

 They all like to huddle together most of the time.   These pictures are when the puppies are 2 weeks old and they just got their color collars put on so that we can tell them apart.

Big Blue thinks he is a big dog already and trying to eat big dog food.   Hold on big guy - mush is coming this week (Week 3).

Their eyes opened exactly at 14 days (July 5th).   They soon got their legs underneath them and started wanting to explore outside their box.   Their personalities are starting to show a little.  It will become more apparent in another week as they explore more.  More pictures to come later today.   I am hoping it gets warmer out again so that they can experience grass and outside for the first time in the next couple of day.  

New Weights as of 2 Weeks - they are in the same order as last time only they will go by their collar color from now on.

Blue:  3 lbs 2 oz
Orange: 3 lbs
Purple: 2 lbs 10 oz  (only female)
Red: 2 lbs 14 oz

Bell & Tyme's New Litter Arrives 6-21-14

New litter of puppies for Bell and Tyme arrived on Saturday, June 21st, 2014.  Two males were born at home.   The delivering was finished via c-section at the vet hospital.  

First male born at home:

Five babies total were delivered live.  Here they are in the incubator at the vet hospital.

Birth Weights

Male (1st one born at home) - 350 grams
Male (2nd one born at home) - 285 grams
Female  - 295 grams
Male - 275 grams
Female - 132 grams (This little one died after 15 hours with us).

And then their were 4.    All are doing well.

This is Zeus. AKA purple male. This is exactly what I want and like to see. This is all fun and praise for Zeus.

Puppy check up

I hope everyone's puppies are doing well. I want to make sure everyone makes an appointment to get their new member of the family in to see the vet. I want you to make sure your vet gives them some de-wormer. One of the puppies that went home came up a little sore and moving a little funny. They took him to the vet and the diagnosis was a nutrient deficiency. This is caused from having worms. The puppies had been de-wormed before but when they are all together and playing outside and chewing on birds it is very easy for them to get worms. It is nothing major but something that can very easily be remedied. So get them in for their check up and get a dose of de-wormer. If you have any questions let me know. I am trying to post a video of the purple male that the family had sent to me. It is exactly what everyone should be doing and the results you should be getting. This video was taken a day or two after he was sent home at 7 weeks.

Update

I forgot to tell people that your puppies are like alarm clocks. They have been waking up at 5:30am like clock work. I have been informed that there has been a recall on some of the Diamond puppy food. You can find out more information on line. It is certain lot numbers. If you are worried about it check out Diamonds web sight or you can switch dog food I would suggest Purina or Nutri Source. They are high quality brands. If anybody has any pictures or updates or questions let me know?

2012 Final Puppy Draft Results

Thank you to the Sheehan family for coming up with a new crafty name for our puppy selection. As you can see it is now the puppy draft. I would also like to thank everyone who purchased a puppy from me. It was my pleasure meeting everyone and I am very pleased and feel very fortunate to be sending puppies to their new families. I hope everyone will keep me updated with progress reports and pictures. If anyone has any questions, call me or email me. Even if it is the littlest thing. I would rather you get a hold of me for a little thing than let it go and have it turn into a big issue. Thanks again and I hope everyone enjoys the new member of their family.
