Here are a few pix's of Addy aka red collar. She has been doing real good,
sleeps through the night and actually only kept us up one night since she's
been home. Her ride back to Canada (9hrs.) was no problem at all. She is
very good in the vehicle and boat as well. Weighed her on our scales and
although they may not be accurate she weighed 12 lbs. which was very
surprising however if I remember correctly the last weight on your blog was
at 6 weeks and she was 7 lbs then. She loves to fetch and is doing real good
with retrieving. We have a pheasant wing attached to a dummy. Her first swim
was this past wknd. We anchored our boat at a beach and put her on the beach
while we got our things out of the boat and she swam out to the boat on her
own. She wasn't gonna sit on the beach and wait for us. LOL. We are really
enjoying her and we're so glad we were fortunate enough to be given your
name when we were debating on getting a puppy so soon after Kassy passed. We
are not regretting our decision at all. She has really filled that void for
us and we just love more every day. Thanks again Nic (and Tyme & Belle).

Zoey and I just returned from Ontario from her first big adventure, She did very well, she experienced a lot of new things and took everything in stride. Zoey got to flush a couple spruce grouse, she isn't real sure about that whole thing but she sure knows that she should watch the birds after they flush into the tree, she is starting to watch birds fly and carrying things around in her mouth, she carried an egg around camp for quite a while before she broke it. Seems to have a soft mouth. She will even retrieve fish, she carefully picks them up without getting poked by the fins, she loves them! She also loves my sleeping bag, she will crawl inside down to the bottom hide there and sleep, she absolutely loves it! She likes the campfires and sunny days.Zoey is a real well behaved dog, only real problem is she has a ravenous appetite! Always wants food and will eat anything. She was just at the Vet last Thursday and she weighs 26 lbs already! She is nearly to big to pick up and carry. She will sit while I am getting her food ready and stay till I tell her OK. Haven't done much else for commands yet but will be starting now.

Just a quick update...Nelli is doing awesome, she has totally taken over the family, but doing awesome. She is a beautiful puppy, every time we take her to the dog park here in town(which is almost daily) we get comments on her. She has a wonderful, bright coat and a blocky face...bottom line, she is wonderful.
